COOKEVILLE, TN ENGAGEMENT
I met Cameron a few years ago when Matthew was working as a recruiter back in our home town. As I was planning my trip back to Tennessee I noticed she was posting about her horses and thought I would reach out to her. Little did I know, I would end up getting to photograph Cody & Cameron’s Cookeville, TN engagement session just a few weeks later.
I have always loved horses and even rode English in middle school. I knew it would be a bit tricky with angles so I brought along my step ladder for some support and boy did it pay off. Cody & Cameron’s engagement session was one of the most joy filled engagements I have witnessed thus far. Incorporating their horses meant so much to Cameron, one of which she has owned since High School!
All of my engagement sessions include two hours of coverage and two outfits. I also have created a style guide to help couples prepare for their session with me. I loved how Cody & Cameron incorporated both a relaxed and dressy look into their session. Fall here in Tennessee is absolutely stunning and the golden hour sunset was the perfect time for them to change over into their second outfits.
Not only did I get to work with an amazing couple, I also was able to photograph Wes, Cody’s son. Of course I had to get some photographs of them all together but some of my favorites from the entire session were of Wes playing with the horses and throwing leaves into the air. He was soaking up each second and was so well mannered during the experience.

You both were made for each other and I am so lucky to have been able to witness just a glimpse of your love story. I hope you cherish these pictures for years to come.
