ORANGE CALIFORNIA ELOPEMENT
Before we made our trip home to Nashville, I had the honor of shooting an Orange, California elopement with a sweet friend of mine Amy Daly Photography. It was simple and yet stunning.
Due to Covid they decided to keep everything small and have only immediate family present. The elopement would take place in Brianna’s parents backyard overlooking an amazing view of Orange, California. We used furniture and accessories around the house as props and I fell in love with their clawfoot tub.
After Brianna’s sister and mother helped her into her gown, it was time for groom portraits. I loved how they incorporated an antique car into their elopement. If you know me well enough, you know I adore antique cars. I could photograph them for hours.
The ceremony was streamed live for family and friends to watch. I know it meant a lot for them to be able to see the bride and groom say their vows and walk down the aisle hand in hand. Covid has had its impact on a lot of us in different ways, but it was so nice seeing everyone so positive and uplifting.
My favorite part of the night was bridal portraits as the sun was setting. Of course we had a fake exit with the getaway car because why not right? That’s the fun thing about elopements, you can do pretty much anything you want. I loved capturing some beautiful sunset photos as well before we went into the house for dinner.
I always get emotional when it comes time for the toasts. I loved capturing moments of their family telling stories about them both. They ended the night with dancing and a mini sparkler exit. It was absolutely beautiful.
Mr. and Mrs. Rowe,
